” Throw It All Away ”
(Analog photography exhibition by Álvaro Rojo) 9th – 23rd September 2017
Exhibition opening party by DJ SAUM
The exhibition shows the other side of Ibiza, outside of exclusivity and luxury. This collection of photographs show a more natural and self-sufficient way of life. Pulling all stereotypes throw out and to struggle for what one feels, leaving the fears aside and following the way that we want.
Everything arises naturally. I arrived at the island by chance after two years of trip in english lands and without any contact beyond telephone numbers. Searching for sites that have a alternative cultural offer, I meet with people who, even in different situations, have something inside that be alike me or that is so interesting that it takes me to the need to photograph them.
Throw It All Away: Throw it all out to fight for your dreams, knowing it’s the most complicated path and unstable, but at the same time the one that makes you at peace with what you feel.
